Experience: suitable for the experienced beginner: some experience sewing stretch knit fabrics.

Fabrics: For the overskirt use light weight cottons e.g. poplin, homespun and similar fabrics. For the shorts use a 4 way stretch knit e.g. lycra, cotton/lycra or cotton/elastane; the fabric must have at least a 50% stretch on length and width.
